I just shook hands with Tigers pitcher, Kenny Rogers and now my hand is all sticky. What in the heck is it? I can barely type and my mouse keeps sticking to my hand. It's gross! Can anyone tell me what it is?

This is just for fun. Yes, I am a St. Louis fan. I agree he pitched an outstanding game and am not using the "substance" as an excuse for the Cardinals lack of offense. But..... if he would have gotten tossed........would the Tigers have still won?

people say if it was pine tar he would have been thrown out of the game but that's actually the whole point of the argument. - no one can say for certain if it was or not because nothing was done about it. the umps said they didn't inspect the hand they just told him to wash it off. and then later kenny said the umps never even approached him about it. the fact that the two stories conflict is sketchy enough. who cares if he pitched a great game without the "tar" it's his ethics that makes me mad.

I'm sick of Georgie Porgie's Detroit Tigers logo. Who's with me? It's just that looking at that logo makes me sick. The Tigers can't draw at all when they're awful, but oh when they win they have all these fans with these flags "We Believe!", etc.
In St. Louis, that doesn't happen. Busch Stadium is always packed. Yeah, sure the Cards have had success, but haven't won a Series since '82. There's been years they haven't been good and the stadium is packed. Cardinals have the better fans, that's for sure.
Detroit believes...as long as you get to the World Series. If you don't....5,000 fans show up to your home games.

im a tigers fan, i just hate kenny rogers, kenny rogers has been caught cheating several times this year and in previous years, check out photos of him during the entire post season against the A's and Yankees, also against the cardinals-check out the palm of his left hand, the inside of his glove and on the back of his hat, after the first inning, he still had it on his hat and glove, kenny has a long track record of this in previous post season years, that POS should be suspended, go tigers

I have heard it was probably JISM . So if it was NOTHING then why did KENNY say that Noboby talked to him about washing his hand YET Steve Palermo said after the game stated Kenny was told by an umpire to wash his hand... So Why did Kenny LIE in his post game Interview???????????

I think the Tigers will still win, but it's too bad they are now tarnished with this embarrassment.....Todd Jones is embarrassing enough!

I wouldn't worry about it. Kenny's hands were clean after the 1st inning and he pitched 7 straight shut-out innings after that. The stuff on your hand probablly came from you after you used the bathroom.
