It sounds as though it maybe be cystic acne (the inflammation is deeper in the tissue and not on the surface like a pimple) or a boil. I'd give it a week and keep the area clean and dry and try not to let your clothes rub on it. If it's not improving I'd go to the doctor then.

I had this too. I showed it to my doctor and he said leave it alone, it will go away on it's own. At first it got bigger, then The redness, pain and hot feeling went away and now I have this knot, like a marble, under my skin. It's ugly and annoying! I hope you'll go, I wish mine had done more for me.!

Co payment should be no more than 10-20 bucks ! Depending which insurance agency you have . At this time you should really go to the doctor and have it checked out ! This is why you have insurance !!!!

Never heard of anything like this.
Maybe you should go to the doc for multiple items, for example get a physical and then ask about the spot on your leg... that way you can get your moneys worth. That is what I do when I have something wrong with me.

I think that a doctor is the best person to asses the issue. DON'T BE CHEAP. People here may not give you an acurate assecment and you could get really sick. What whould you rather be rich or dead?

sounds kinda like a spider bite...or it could be a boil forming.....in either case i would go to the doctor.....if it is hot and red and growing that could be a sign of an infection.....see a doctor.

If it is a matter of your health - you need to go to the doctor. If it is just a cyst then you will be able to sleep better at night.
