yes, throughout your whole pregnancy you will feel this way. Always tired and overwhelmed at times.

Expect to be tired for awhile. During my first trimester there were times when I would feel drop dead tired for no reason at all. I didn't feel like I could ever get enough sleep.

It lessened once I entered my second. It's coming back a little now that I'm nearing the end of my third (35 weeks!), but I think that's mostly because I haven't been sleeping well.

And when baby comes...well, I imagine you'll always be tired then too...at least for the first several months.

Congrats!

Yes, it can be.... but every pregnancy is different. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck

Yes, it is. I am 9 weeks and still feel like my head is so heavy it is going to fall off. My best advice is to catch sleep when you can, the more sleep, the less you feel tired and worn out. Take naps. Eat healthy. Exercise if you can, and relax. Stress makes it a lot worse. Neck massages help too, it stimulates the blood to flow through restricted blood vessels and helps relieve that "heavy" feeling.

My question to you is, how do you know you're pregnant if you're only 2 weeks along? Technically you haven't conceived yet? Did you mean 2-3 weeks after conception? If you did that would place you at 4-5 weeks pregnant, at which time it is very normal to be exhausted.

Yes. You're still in your first trimester, and you'll be tired. Take naps if you need to, but watch how much caffiene you use!

The second trimester will be a little better, and then you'll start getting tired again in your third...but nothing will compare to having a beautiful child! Good luck!

what does your Doctor say? When I got pregnant I was fine until I hit 6 weeks, I slept solid for one whole week, getting up only to go to the bathroom. I couldn't eat, drink or smell ANYTHING or I'd "lose it"
