$785.40 is your answer. It's really simple- all you have to do is put it into an equation and solve. This will help to show you that it is in fact the correct way to do it- and then you can always check your answer.
Let's say that number you are trying to find is represented by A. (You should always use a variable in problems like these. )
Next you put the other number into a logical sentence that will help you solve it.
A / .32=595
*Because A represents the price that it as yesterday, and the took off 32%. (32% when convreted to a decimal is .32)
Now you must multiply both sides by .32 in order to get rid of the .32 and still keep things proportional.
595 x .32 is 190.4.
A= 595+190.4
Now you are left with 785.4.
Eventually you will get the hang of it and you can simply tell how to do the problem just by looking at the numbers and figuring out how they will be put together. Until then- I hope this helps!

You have to x's 595.00 by .32 which is 32% but change into a decimal. then for you answer you get, $190.40and add that to 595.00 and get your answer for yesterdays' price at $735.40.
ANSWER: $735.40 yesterdyas original price
