Change your antivirus program. Get a better one. Here you have a list with some good and free ones. Make your choice:

see man there are some ways that can help u out i just read all the crap above which is been served to u but believe that there are some ways and yes its true that most of the spyware cleaners are rubbish believe me

1)first of all just run ur pc in safemode and see if it works, mostly it works but if the bug is still not satisfied than try

2)click ctrl+alt+del and just see the processes if u find some mischevious one delete it

but be care ful dont try to delete a system file ok
3)the most power ful technique which works over here is system restore this facility will just make ur pc all right

go to start ->all programs->acessories->system tools->system restore

after this restore ur system to a date when it was perfectly normal so what it will do is it will just erase all the files which were saved after that date and it will clean up all the mess

my personal choice would be third one ok so go for the system restore and after that u can do defragmentation and all

in 99% cases system restore works and if it does not than try some more anti spy wares and the last solution is as we all know system format but i am sure that system restore will work

I prefer ad-aware from Lavasoft. Most spyware and viruses are difficult, by design. The recommended method is to scan, reboot and scan again until all elements of the malware are gone. If its an Internet Browser compromise you can try a product called HiJack This. You can also download a freeware called AutoRuns from Sysinternals.com. Autoruns will scan your system and disclose all of the items that are processed when your system starts up. Its great for finding stuff stashed away in the nooks and crannies so to speak. If your infection truly is new and you can find the offending bits, copy them and send them to an Anti Virus company, like McAfee. The have a specific portal for such submissions.

This could be annoying program that was "bundled" with another
rpogram and not spyware or a virus. Try to find out its name and then go to: Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs, locate the program and un-install it.

If you can't do that click the Start Button -> Run -> type msconfig and press "OK" -> Click on the "Startup" tab and un-check the programs that you don't want to run every time Windows starts . This could help you get rid of it.

Good luck

I had the same thing and its hard to get rid of. None of my spyware programs found it but i finally got rid of it by running Yahoo anti spy.
Its masked in add/remove programs so not easy to find.

try downloading superantispyware from http://superantispyware.com and load their latest definitions. That will probably get it. If not post a hijackthis! log at http://bleepingcomputer.com and someone there can probably give you instructions on removing it.
