what actors have been asked to play james bond?

I don't know who has, but one that probably should have been asked is Jason Connery (stepping into his Fathers shoes) and one that should never be allowed near the part is Robbie (Norman Wisdom) Williams, just because he fancies himself as bond and made a pop video send-up, everyone thought he should be given the part, crazy world we live in init!

Daniel Craig should be good, slightly new direction as well, alot grittier and alot more like Bourne, great!
