The percentage of blacks that vote for Democrats defies logic. Show me any statitician that says that it's normal. It's as if the black population was replaced with black, democrat robots. Consider this:
A)Blacks are often in poor school districts and face hardships in life due to an inferior education
B)Democrats oppose school vouchers that would enable blacks to get a better education
A)Blacks typically have traditional values
B)Democrats denounce traditional values and celebrate gay, abortion, illegal alien, terrorists, judicial activism, and voter fraud
A)Blacks are good
B)Democrats are bad
A)Blacks are qualified to hold significant political positions
B)Democrats never let blacks have significant political positions. It is the republicans who nominate blacks to the supreme court, national security advisor, and secretary of state
A)Blacks are cool
B)John Kerry = not cool
A)I'm black, highly intelligent, and conservative
B)I'm not a democrat
So...explain???

Have you ever read history? Because the democratic party (then called the federalist party )freed you from slavery in the 1860s. Funny you should remain loyal to the party that kept you in chains.
BTW: when was the last time the Republican party had a black presidential nominee?

It's starting to change. Lots of black people have noticed the things you've mentioned, and other inconvenient truths about the Democrats as well. Like Abe Lincoln said... you can't fool all the people all the time...
Besides that, more and more blacks are getting wealthy in this country -- and wealth is a key component of independence from the Democratic Plantation -- after all, the less you need government, the less you need Democrats. Buying votes only gets you so far.

I am Black and I NEVER went to a poor school. I am also and Independent. Democrats support zoning in which I agree with. I am conservative but I do not believe the garbage that the republicans are dishing out. I fought for my country. I am also intellegent and successful but I do not understand how you seemingly stand behind the republican party as you do. The last democratic president did more for minorities than any other. Keep in mind that most republicans oppose affirmative action also.

Democrats have put on a good propaganda show but in actually their are more elected blacks that are Republican then democrats mostly due to the plantation mentality of democratic leadership.
Someone I admire most of all politicians is the former Representative JC Watts of Oklahoma. He epitomized someone who worked hard in school and became someone with leadership potential I'd vote for him as president in a heart beat over any current R OR D candidate. Nonsense ! The Democrats are for big Government taxing
heavily and sponsoring many give away programs. There are
more poor blacks than whites, so they try to appeal to them to
get voted into office. Puerto Ricans (In Puerto Rico) love Democrats, even though they cant vote for President, because of the give-away
programs. Bill Clinton has been labled the first black president
even though he restricted many programs due to an attempt to

Like some of the others said, Democrankies have become associated with giveaway programs but I'm sorry to say that there are some minority folks out there that just haven't recognized that these cheesedick liberals are patting them on the head like a cute little pet because that's the way they view minorities. Republicans and Conservatives view them as PEOPLE. No different, no worse, no better than anyone else. Intelligent human beings who are just as capable at charting their own destiny as any of us are capable of charting our own, and in some cases, probably better at it.
The Liberal losers and Jackass Democranks pander for votes on the giveaway programs because they have no idea of how to move forward. they have no good ideas and they just want to tax, tax tax people until we have complete and utter redistribution of wealth. I am a white male who was raised by a black woman with a minimal education and I'd have to say that she was 10 times smarter than any candidate the Democrats have run for office in the last 25 years. If she were still with us (bless her) she'd be apalled at the way the Democrats are treating people of color.

Beats me, and don't forget, Abraham Lincoln who emancipated the slaves, was a Republican. And if the Democratic party is sooo pro-black, why do they attack Condi Rice, Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, and any other black who dares to think for themselves and achieve a position of authority. The black people of America need to realize that the Democrats are only pro-black as long as the blacks stay "in their place" and vote Democrat.

my in-laws would vote for mickey mouse if he were on the republican ticket. it is just inbred in those types. it is easier to be ignorant than to spend some time and really find out what the politicians stand for. it should never be a color issue but a right/wrong-good/bad issue. ignorance can be fixed but stupidity is fatal. you pick the victim, be it political, religious or social.

i'm a black democrat. the republican party does not represent me.
i'm pro choice, i believe we need to do something about these illegals and building a fence is not the way.
it makes more sense to fix the schools then to ship the kids to other schools where they may not be able to keep up.
i don't really give a damn about the gays.
being against terrorists keeps me alive.
i don't think voter fraud is that big.
the best part about being a democrat is that i think for myself.
