1. Field of Dreams.. in part because my dad and I always fought when I was a teen.. and unlike Ray, my dad and I 'made up' as I grew older.. despite the fights, we always had baseball as a common bond.. I admit, My eyes well up every time Ray says at the very end, "Hey Dad, want to play catch.."
2. Sandlot.. reminds me alot of my youth..
3. For the Love of the Game.. yeah, it's a chick flick, but I love the baseball parts and how they are interwoven into flow of Chappy's perfect game..
Side Note.. I enjoyed the Natural, but because I read the book by Bernard Malumad prior to the movie I have a big problem with the ending being vastly different from the book.. So I have a hard time truely liking the movie..

In my opinion the three best baseball movies I have ever seen are 1. The Natural, 2. The Pride of The Yankees, and 3.Field of Dreams.

league of their own, field of dreams and bull durham. league of their own wasnt about softball, it was about the first professional womens baseball league. during world war II when so many players like ted williams went to war the women had to occupy their time doing something and it was a success because fans wanted to see good baseball so they supported the womens leagues that is until the men came back. great movie for men and women. this is a movie recommend little girls watch because anything a boy can do so can a girl.
