uhh lets see
3+2=5
3/4+3/4=6/4=1 and 2/4=1 and 1/2
5+1+1/2=6.5 or 6 and 1/2
hope i helped
EDIT:For the genius who said this:
"Where did everyone get 6 1/2? it is 6 2/4. Remember your adding fractions. The bottom number always stays the same. When the fraction become a whole number you have to carry it over as a 1 whole number which 3+2=5+1(4/4)= 6 leaving the fraction as 2/4 from 6/4. There fore the answer is 6 2/4. Why 1/2 from 2/4? Where is the other 1/2 go? which is missing. If that the case it should be 7 1/2. "
no hunny. 2/4 is reduced to 1/2. another 1/2 would make a whole. 2 is half of 4, meaning it is 1/2. Your 6 and 2/4 answer is partially correct, but in math class for it to be entirely correct it must be reduced.
