Since they went in there searching for weapons of mass destruction and never found one, I guess they should let him take part in the demcratic process, form his own party if he still has supporters. And then let the Iraqis themselves decide what they want to do with him. They should arrest him themselves and not the Americans or British.

Hussein is on trial (in HIS country) for crimes agains humanity for the "ethnic cleansing" of the Kurdish population in northern Iraq so he is not going to be freed. I predict he will be justly executed.

The invasion of Iraq was due to Hussein's decade-long refusal and hinderance of NATO weapons inspectors.

And for all the uninformed, this site has links to real discoveries of WMD found in Iraq. http://home.earthlink.net/~mmmhiggins/IRAQWMD.html#CCCO

To simply "pull out" all troops and support would cause such crisis in the mideast to possibly cause global war. It is terrible that so many would negatively criticize a president for working with NATO to preserve our safety and that of those who cannot defend themselves on what was considered credible intelligence from many sources. The whole situation is being used as a political shield to ignore other serious issues and problems in our country.....Shame on you all.

why do all of you liberals never do a fact check...ok Hillary clone...one last time.
1. we didnt go in searching for weapons, we went in because are conditions werent met with saddams disclosure.
2. we did find them, check richard butlers un release on the casings and mustard gas cannisters no it wasnt global proportion but they WERE THERE and also couldve easily been on mobile tracking. we also found mass graves from saddam gassing and torturing his own people, shame the media never focused on that.
3.saddam has no interest in invovlement in a democratic process, his address to the iraqi court (popularly or democratically elected) is I am the president of iraq...and i dont recognize you.
the iraqis have possesion of saddam as he was transferred to their court.
Tell Hillary I said hi and stop wasting peoples time until you get your facts right.

A sense of duty pursues us ever....If we take to ourselves the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, the duty performed or the duty violated is still with us, for our happiness or our misery. If we say the darkness shall cover us, in the darkness as in the light our obligations are yet with us.
--Daniel Webster

Once we have a war there is only one thing to do. It must be won. For defeat brings worse things than any that can ever happen in war.
--Ernest Hemingway

The deadliest enemies of nations are not their foreign foes; they always dwell within their borders. And from these internal enemies civilization is always in need of being saved. The nation blessed above all nations is she in whom the civic genius of the people does the saving day by day, by acts without external picturesqueness; by speaking, writing, voting reasonably; by smiting corruption swifly, by good temper between parties; by the people knowing true men when they see them, and preferring them as leaders to rabid partisans or empty quacks.
---William James

I think you need to read a book called Saddam's Secrets. It is written by one of his air force generals, Gen. Georges Sada. It is a real eye opener from one who was close to Saddam and is not afraid to tell the truth, even though it could have cost him his life. You can find it in most bookstores. I recommend it for anyone who questions the war in Iraq.

Its too late for all that. If we pulled out now, it would mean handing over Iraq to the terrorist. There new government would fail and it would be a terrorist state/country.
