getting my real estate licence and I would just like to know what goe's on at a real estate firm I would get coffee do what ever to get some skills and experience under my belt and I would do all this for free. Oh I live in Houston Tx I have called around and every one is telling me no. Hopefully someone on yahoo answeres can help me out.

you need to talk to the Broker. this person is whom everyone in the office not only reports to, but shares a commission with. typically, if you agree to work for his company, he'll pay for you to take the real estate classes you'll need to get your license. Once you have your license, whatever money you make (commission) on the properties you sell or list will be split with the broker. You do NOT have to have a real estate license to work as a receptionist (getting coffee).
