Curt, are you serious? Do you honestly believe that the Democrats and terrorists are secretly convening meetings in an ultra-secret plot to take down America? Please!! Enough of this crap!! It is ignorance of the type you are so obviously brimming with that has divided our once Great Nation into warring factions. I do not believe that anyone in our current administration wants the terrorists to win... But there has got to be a better way to fight them than by invading and destroying other countries. Terrorists are everywhere, Or have you forgotten Oklahoma City? How about we use our huge nuclear arsenal and destroy ALL the other countries? But wait.....we'd have to nuke America too!! I'm positive that some of the Iraqis now believe the US to be the terrorists (which I do not believe). But when the only answer to the problem is killing, we need to be asking different questions.

Dubya's got you snowed, doesn't he? Or didn't you know that Osama is related to Bush's best buddies over in Saudi Arabia? Or that Al-Quaida has never been proven to have any real presence in Iraq... unlike Afghanistan, where they were in tight with the Afghani government, and which has been left to go to back to churning out terrorists while Bush distracts everyone posturing about how much tougher than his daddy he is.
In the meantime, W is doing everything humanly possible to make sure that the terrorists have lots of new recruits in Iraq and the rest of the ME by torturing random civilians, wrongfully imprisoning foreign nationals (not all of whom are Arabs, much less Iraqis), and slaughtering people who were ready to welcome us with open arms for freeing them of Saddam Hussein.
The absolute worst, most effective way to fight a war against terrorism would be to provide food, shelter, and medical care to the innocents who have been caught in the crossfire. People who have something to lose don't strap on a vest full of C4 and blow themselves up in the middle of rush hour traffic.

I don't see the link between terrorists and Democrats. If you are referring to the fact that they may be "anti-war", the majority of Republicans now support that stand also.
