This board does not allow an in-depth discussion of the subject, just shallow one-liners. Otherwise I would ask - why do so many `ghost` sightings come from females, what age group see ghosts most often? If ghosts are spirits or lost souls (as some claim) how do we explain ghost ships and coaches; does wood and canvas have a soul? How can a highwayman carry a ghost pistol, do guns have souls or spirits? If only humans have souls, why are ghosts not naked, cloth surely has no spirit! Dick Turpin is reported as a ghost - yet his horse was sold and lived for years AFTER Turpin was hanged. How did Turpin get his horse back? Interesting subject!

how to deal with a ghost.
fleeting ghost that you see drift by are meaningless outher than an attempt to maybe frighten you, not a good cause so they are not carrying a message of anykind, if a spirit appears in front of you looking at you, offer to shake hands, if it tries to sake hands with you, it intends to decieve you, because you would not feel anything because its a spirit, if it has a heavenly message it will give you the message and leave. the message will beeither "a call to repentance" "a warning of trouble" i cant remember the third, If you get a visit from an angel or glorified being, there is no mistake here they are brighter than the sun there features are like lights, they give you a message and leave, after they are gone the room may still be light for a while, you may feel unwell or afraid or have a terrable headach but these are very powerful
spirits, or you can get them with flesh, these are resurected beings, these may shake your hand but you will feel it. if satan or some demon appears as a fake angel he will use the coulor blue
or shimerring coulours, he cant use white because white is true glory and he has only shame, pray hard to get shut of it, or yell at it in christs name,he he heee, to a non believer I must read as a right nut case, but nevermind them ay.

hells yeah...seen em, been touched by them, hit, kicked, knocked down, and even pinned down in my bed while i was asleep. i have lived in some wicked haunted houses. you can "clear" a house by smudging it with indian (native american) ceremonial white sage (it only grows wild in southern california mountains)...you can buy it at natural food stores, herb stores, etc. it comes in a bundle about 6-7 inches long, 2 or so inches wide, and is usually wrapped in string or yarn. you can tell the difference from other ceremonial sages by looking at the leaves...this sage has long, broad silvery-white leaves and fat stems...about 4-5 inches long. there will be no buds, flowers, etc. you'll prob need several bundles to smudge the whole house.

place the bundle in a heat proof ashtray or cast iron skillet. light it on fire when the tips are burning well...blow it out, and go from room-to-room letting the smoke infiltrate every area of the room...as in walking totally around the room. ( you might have to keep re-lighting the bundle til you get the hang of it ) some people start from the basement and work up to the attic, some start from the top of the house and work down. you can pray while doing this if you wish to...i have a specific prayer i say in my native language (lakota). do not forget to leave a door or window open for the bad spirits to exit from...i am so not kidding. they will slam into the walls trying to get out if you don't...i've had it happen! this really works, i've been doing it for my entire life...learned from my grandmother...it's not witchcraft people. lol. it's earth medicine. you can smudge a house or room any time you feel it needs it..you can't over do it. lol.

Yes actually I do STORY TIME!!!!!

In 1999 a girl that lived in my town got into a car accident and died. She was a very well known girl she was only 18. After the car accident her family moved out of the house to another area of town. Soon 2001 my mother took the house. I had the liberty of taking her bedroom which was totally awesome. (oh btw the house that we live in is right near her cemetary that she was buried) About six months later I have heard my drawers open/close clothes strewn about my room when I woke up. It was quite freaky at first but soon I became used to it. She still does it to this day. She is not there to hurt me I know this becuase I she has done nothing to my family in the least. I believe that she is here to find something that she has lost. Believe it or not but thats the honest to God truth.
