I'm thinking of switching my makeup to I.D. Bare Minerals. I've heard all the wonderful things said about this line and I want to give it a try.

I'm wondering though, if this makeup will be compatible with my skin. I wouldn't say my skin is dry. And it's not oily either. If anything its combination. It tends to get just a bit oily around my nose towards the end of the day.

Also, would it stand up to the humidity here in Houston, TX?
I'm going to Sephora sometime this week to try it out, just thought I'd ask here before I went.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Arbonne has mineral powder also. And it is pure, ---no animal
by-products.

I have used bare minerals for 3 years now. I have combination skin and I love it. At first I was skeptical about the product watching it being advertised on tv. Then I went to a sephora store, tried it and loved it, the feeling of the mineral powder is so light and the colors are excellent. I wear it all seasons and it does NOT sweat off in the hot summer sun, like alot of other foundations too. After using it for the last 3 years., i have no breakouts and my skin texture has improved, because it is a natural product without all the ingredients that I couldn't pronounce from other products that I have used in the past.

Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Oh, sweetie, I live in Houston and swear by this stuff. The trick is to apply it correctly and buff it in. Get a starter kit w/the video for application tricks and visit their website for video tutorials. I have an oily t-zone & put a layer of mineral veil on before the foundation to sop up the oil. It really helps.

It works well with most skin types. Since you live in a humid area, you will need the mineral veil also...it is TOTALLY worth it! I have combo skin also, and I love the stuff. Looks and feels natural and makes your skin healthy!!
