I like your design. Its user friendly and quick to load.
The text on your story page could possibly be a bit darker tho. (Its my old eyes :)
Instead of buying a domain, try one from Award Space.
There are no adds and you have more tools to monitor your site. You can get a free subdomain eg: www.yourname.awardspace.com

your a bit all over the place with the background colour changing, 1 of the core rules of a website is to keep the background the same unless your massively changing between topic

i like what you've done so far but the only pic that i could see was "blue" and its really good. Cant wait to see the rest!
