Yes, I have done that, and wow did I feel stupid when I realized where the pen was. :)

No, because my ears don't hold things like pens, pencils or cigarettes for very long and I usually end up loosing them if they are put there.

It's never happen to me with a pencil or pen,but it has happenned with my glasses,sometimes i look for them when I already have them on.

No, I have done a similar thing with my sunglasses.
I went running around like a demented person looking for my sunnies, turned the place into wreckage, just to discover they were on the top of my head.
You really feel like slapping yourself.

Not behind my ear but through my pony tail or bun (between it and my scalp) and yes, looked everywhere for it. Felt so stupid when I found it.

I haven't done that, but a friend of mine called her husband one day frantically looking for her cell phone, He was telling her to look here and look there, and.........then she realized... she was talking on it!!!!!! lol
