The measure of angle a is 2y-10...?

if the measure of angle ais 2y-10, then what would be its complimentary and supplementary angle?

I have no idea how to do a problem like this, because they don't even define y!!!!!

anyone know how to do this problem?

complementary angle=90-(2y-10)=100-2y
supplementary angle=180-(2y-10)=190-2y
