I am 36 years old, married to a wonderful man, with equally wonderful children.

my job requires me to get up & leave for work at 3'ish in the morn, while hubby works until midnight.

we are having scheduling conflicts for sure. How do you all find time for everything when everyone is busy?

I miss my hubby!

Today's life makes intimacy difficult in a lot of households. I would suggest that you get a babysitter (hopefully you have some family around you) once and a while and just have date nights with your husband. My wife and I will go out and if we can't get time for a weekend getaway sometimes we manage to just stay overnight at a nice Hyatt or Hilton and have a good time being with each other. I know just what you are talking about, sometimes my wife and I joke that we are roommates because we are so busy and rightfully so, it seems to be about the kids most of the time... one other trick. Try taking a shower together before you go to work or when he gets home and needs one. You get a little dirty... and then you get clean! Good Luck.... you may both jet off to work but at least you both have a little smile on your face!

You probably need work changes. It's never going to be okay long term if you don't spend time together - and it sounds like that's pretty well out of the question right now. Either change your schedule or change your job. Nothing is more important than the people you love.

Don't schedule so much. Wing it sometimes. As long as you have daycare- or if your children are old enough to be left alone; they can help with things around the house. It won't hurt them at all. You and your husband just have to become creative if you are looking for a little romance. As long as you and your husband are talking and stay on the same page, it will all be okay. Family fun, in fact, is very spontanious.
