Probaly! Japanese eat still born babies and Chinese eat cat! so why not dog for the asian?
Because the japanese like disect the baby and then roll them in flour and seasoning and then fry them and sell the brains in jars like pickles in the grocery store
The chinese eats cat as one of their main delight
so the asian probaly does but i don ot know if they boil them alive! that sounds a little extreme and harsh don't it?

Yes, some of them eat dog. No, none that I have ever heard of skin them alive and boil them alive -- most cooked dog is grilled or fried, not boiled.

It's much more rare than it used to be, but there are still poor regions in some Asian countries (Philippines, China, Viet Nam, etc.) that do eat dog. I personally don't have a problem with it, it's just meat like any other animal -- and if you've nothing else to eat, it beats starving. Just because westerners have adopted dogs as pets doesn't make the meat any different -- if we'd chosen pigs as pets (who are smarter than dogs), you'd be asking why those nasty Asians have bacon, wouldn't you? ;-)

Well, not everywhere in Asia. Dont term this as asians, some south east asians only do this. In central asia, this practise is not there. Vietnam, they do as you say like boiling them while they still alive, they sometimes cut the dog's stomach apart and put rice, etc ... then they fry it, bbq style ... so the dog as well inside the rice also gets cooked. Then the dog will die by itself in the cooking process, then they will clean the unwanted organs and consume it. Those dogs they say arent street or stray dogs. Those are healthy and farm dogs, raised for the purpose for mainly consuming. But am not sure whether its legal or not there. Something from the Animal Activists like Peta should take action against this irritating issue.

Yes, they do and household cats too. Depends on the region of SE Asia. I know they have some horrible markets in southern China where they sell cats ties in nets, there are so many that the weight of the ones on the top has crushed/suffocated the ones on the bottom ... it's so sad. I dont have anything against thier culture eating "exotic" animals, but the methods they use are simply cruel. They do not boil dogs alive though ...

The eating of dogs for food is not a new controversy for South Korea, as this photo from 1988 indicates. The photo originally accompanied a story on dog meat sales by The Sun's Lorrie Goldstein during the 1988 Seoul Olympics. The government banned the killing of dogs for food, in locations frequented by visitors, during the Olympics. They were afraid of upsetting Westerners visiting their country.

Yes it is true with some people. People other than Asians eat dogs. And many Asian cultures eat other foods, like beef, chicken and fish. a dog has very little meat compared to a cow. One cow can feed four or five families. I don't know how many people a dog can feed, I'm too busy eating chicken.

What???? I'm Asian and I never ate a dog in my life, but yet, I was born and raise in Boston, Ma. Never gone to China or Hong Kong so I don't know if it's true or not. The only thing I could say is if your hungry enough and there's nothing else to eat, would you eat a dog if it's necessary?

In some parts of the world, Cows wander the streets while people starve... and they cant believe that people in America and Europe eat cattle/beef. Horse is on the menu in France. Goat is a staple in other countries. It may seem cruel to us to eat dog, or disgusting to think of eating rats, snakes even bugs. As Americans we dont need to look at our pets as a source of food, arent we lucky?

I don't know if they skin them alive, but yes they tend to eat dogs and cats..See meat is not easily available such as beef or pork, so they eat the next best thing..Cats and Dogs. I lived in Thailand and they eat other things people here will just throw up about.

Yes however Dogs are don't forget very clever. Not like different animals. That's why we do not devour them right here within the US due to the fact a puppy is a mans first-class buddy. They are lovely shrewd.
