I’m hosting a baby shower for a friend and she is a single mother of 3, working on her fourth child. I want to get something funny / cute on her baby shower cake. Nothing hurtful, but just something that is kid of tongue in cheek about the fact that yes, we know this is your 4th kid and we love you anyway. : ) Any ideas????

I think it would tacky and possibly mean to tease her about the fact that she is having her fourth out of wedlock child.
And obviously, she's not too worried about having all these kids without a husband, or she would have used birth control.
My vote goes for a cake that says "congratulations."

You can always just got with a simple cake, pastel colors are nice for baby showers and you can go with flowers or like a baby stroller/carraige and then the other 3 kids sitting around it.. like a simple drawing sort of thing would be cute

Play it safe and don't take the chance of offending her. Something simple like Congratulations is really the only appropriate thing. Don't risk hurting her feelings and ruining the friendship. Even something that you may think is funny and harmless can be interpreted in a manner in which you did not intend.

something cute like decorate it with a small toy for each of her kids then a little box for baby #4 good luck cherry desings are very cute or care bears
