it is an army plane that crashes and they think themselves lucky to all still be alive until one by one they come upon their own bodies. It is quite an old film but I loved it.

It was 'Sole Survivor' and, as the name implies, there was one survivor who leads a team back to the plane when it is found 25 years after the crash. Richard Baseheart and William Shatner wouldn't thank you for saying there were no major actors in the film!!
