X Factors Simon Cowell is a well respected intelligent individual who has integrity! This characteristic is what makes him say the stuff he does about performers... He is just being honest! he knows what he is talking about so why cant he be arrogant about it! To me, Simon is a legend! I know many of you will disagree but i thought i would ask anyway! i personally think he is great and x factor wouldn't be the same without him if he ever decided to leave. his comments on the show are not only honest but highly amusing.

He wants to be seen as hated gives him tons more publicity. It's Mr. Cowell's persona that is a lot of his claim to fame.

As far i know the guy had never had a proper job and never even made a record. When he signs groups he rips them off!

Being honest is one thing. Hurting peoples feelings is another. As smart as he is, I'm sure he could constructively criticze without hurting someone.
