Yes, many trojans will go straight to your outlook address folder and ransack it for e-mail addresses, then mail them home to spammers. Companies have better security on their servers than we have on our pc!
You can increase your security by using a firewall, anti virus, anti spyware and anti adware. You can use Firefox web browser instead of Internet Explorer, switch off Active X in Internet Explorer; and you can try Mozilla Thunderbird.
Mozilla write and distribute Firefox, Thunderbird is their version of Outlook Express. It's free and more secure.

The Windows firewall doesn't stop malware on your pc from dialling out. Zone Alarm firewall is free for personal use and stops unwanted incoming and outgoing traffic. You choose which programs are allowed to access the internet. It's fairly easy to use and updated regularly.

Depends on what type of security you are talking about. Composing and sending emails through any website is better privacy because there is no record on the computer itself of the email.

In terms of security it's EXACTLY the same...Outlook Express takes your email and sends it to the mail server...your homepage or website takes the email and sends it to the exact same mail server...

No difference. I have been using Outlook for my Yahoo mail for years with no issue and many other people do the same.

There are also many advantages of using Outlook Express - in that you can send/compose emails offline, archive them, etc. etc.

Outlook placed across is unquestionably very friendly and people prefer to stick to it as its extremely problem-unfastened to stick to. with connection with the server settings , the SMTP server is ur isp provider putting and the POP is the mail putting. yet you cant use yahoo in ur outlook placed across as yahoo is a paid server. in elementary words gmail and heat mail money owed ought to be activated as they're free of fee.
