I had a friend who was a MEGA GEEK all the way through her Jr. Year. The summer before our Sr. year, we helped her find her style and learn to love herself. And she came back like a hot mama lookin' so sweet down the halls.
So maybe you need to figure out what features you like or love (its okay to love yourself) about your self and start working on bringing those features out more. Do you have pretty eyes? Add mascara to draw attention. Do you have sexy plump lips? Apply some gloss and blow kisses at the world.
Next you should find a style that you really like. Do you like wearing joggers, go for the cute sporty girl look. Jeans, Gym shoes, Cute fitted tops, and a nice jacket or sweater to compliment. Or do you like this retro 80's look? There is stuff for you everywhere.
HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART:
ACCESSORIZE!!! You should always compliment any outfit with a necklace or a belt, a cute hat or cap that matches your shoes, bracelets, any of these or all of them will definately create a great look.
AAAAAAnd, learn how to walk in heels honey, high heels, boots, whatever, because heels make every outfit look sexier.
Finally, when you rearrange your wardrobe, find a cut that fits your new style...angle bangs are very cute!

Go to a department sore such as Belk. Make an appointment at one of the make up counters such as Lancome, Clinique, Estae Lauder, well one along those lines...Make an appointment to get a makeover. Go to a salon and get your eye brows waxed. You can tell the stylist exactly how you want your hair, and she'll let you know what will and what won't work on you. I am sure you are not ugly darling, but getting a makeover should boost your confidence a bit. Good luck, and have fun!

Try the Clinique counter in a major department store.. The girl there will show you what will work best for you and she will also show you how to apply the makeup... It may cost a bit but in the end I think that you will be happy with the results... Better to spend the money to make you feel better about yourself than to be depressed.
