i have a student dependant VISA. i need to work to save my family from sleeping in the street. the problem is that my VISA is expiring in two months but my husband is supposed to extend it somehow, no one would hire some one his VISA is expiring in 2 months (i tried everthing even the temporary job). i got job offers but it comes to my VISA they said sorry. and it is the same for my husband who is studying here in the UK and has no right to work more than 20 hours a week.
sorry for putting this question in this category but i know people visit this category much so i can get many answers as it is very important. please help.

I don't understand. Are you saying there's some sort of death penalty if you go back to Iraq?
As far as your job situation, what about working as a nanny or somewhere they wouldn't require a visa from you. I'm sure there are lots of people that need extra help in their home and would be willing to pay decent money. House cleaning, nanny, etc.

If your husband is not a student and the visa is expiring, he should either get back in school or make arrangements to get you back to your homeland. Maybe he or you can apply for a different type of visa? But can you blame employers for not hiring either of you? Why should they invest time and money to train you and have you leave? I'm sure that your husband has been aware of the expiration time and he should have started making arrangements a long time ago. Sorry, but I can't feel sorry for your situation!

In the time go to fast food restaraunt. I know it is not the best jod but you still get paid. Call the visa plce and ask about it.

i dont agree with over staying a countrys wecolme but there is always indepoendent hotels that take on staff if your english is good try that or the otrher options is see keith vaz mp in leicester he seems to know the way around it

hhmm....where r u from...do u have money for the ticket to go back to ur home...if u have just go back...or if u don't...make it up...
why u want to be in such a situation live or death....so many compications...I know ppl go to countires such as Uk , US etc..to make money..nd it's gud too...but what't the point sticking to UK if u r in such a bad situation where u r thinkin about death....
