You will be very cold. If the ac comes on as you are taking a hot shower. Give me the chills just think of it.

No way! There's always a possibility of something coming loose and you'll end up being electrocuted. The best location for the vent is on a wall near the shower/tub.

YES---IF YOU LIKE MOLD AND MILDEW. It is possible to contaminate your entire systeem that way. If your tub is separate and you have no other options, the put it over the tub but not over a shower. You shouldn't pass inspection if you are building a new home.

should be placed over the window in bath if one is there( heat loss/gain) if no window, place away from fans and toward the back 1/3 of the room to allow the air return to pull the air thru the room to condition it.......also by placing the vent over ur shower it will rust very fast.....

Usually the vents are in the ceiling center of a bathroom...

no...can you imagine the cold air coming on in the middle of your shower? definitely move it to the middle of the room
