They would not notice.

The world revolves around them, not you. Usually, they're too occupied with their own reflection in the mirror to even care.

A true narcissist would probably not notice if you ignored them. On the other hand, if they do notice, it may encourage them to become louder and more annoying to get your attention.

There's a difference between just attention seeking and a true narcissist.

I don't believe it would hurt them, I don't think they are capable of such an emotion.

A true narcissist wouldn't NOTICE that you were ignoring them as they would still believe you were enraptured with everything about them.
