The possibility is there, but I would expect very much from Yahoo answers, as a source for making friends.

No. This is a place to ask questions or give helpful answers to those who need them, not a place to socialize. I'm not going to deny, however, that I HAVE made friends here - but that isn't primarily what this site is for.

No. You can't get to know people by giving out answers. You don't know who they are, even if they have "real life" photos. They could be some freak who murders people. Best place to make life long friends is... REAL LIFE.
