Personally, im going through a divorce as well. We've been separated now for 10 months and I've moved on. Unfortunately, i am not LEGALLY single, but the moment i thought it was time to move on was when I said that i was single- the moment he made me realize it was officially over- i was single. unfortunately, divorce is expensive and can take a long time, and waiting for those things to be available (time and money) then i guess you are just "separated" as am i.

May be u r officially seperated , but u can be considered single only when you have taken him/her out of your mind and HEART too.
some clashes might happened between you two, but the thing is Does these kind of contradictions deserve a divorce ............? Is this the onl way to get rid of it ? If it is then take him/her out of your life completely.

When you know it's over and you feel it in your heart! A lot of people just live together in a relationship but because they are not married does not mean they are single, I think it really is when you are ready to move on with your life!

You are considered single when you file for divorce..at least that is what my attorney told me. You are free to do as you please even though I didn't date for almost 2 years after I filed and it took me those 2 years to get the thing finalized!!!
You also are not single if you have a steady g/f or b/f!!

The appropriate term to describe your marital status is 'Divorced', if you are legally seperated from your spouse. But you are single in the sense that you are unattached to anyone of the opposite sex. However 'Single' actually refers to a bachelor or a spinster.

Technically, you're not single until your divorce is final. But for the intents and purposes of dating, you are "single" after you are separated, and no longer in a committed relationship.

The very minute you are defind as MARRIED BACHELOR !
Start repenting for the act as bachelors problems get over you and money you spent goes down the drain.
This is the real difination of a Married Bachelor.

when you are divorced. Please don't be one of those people that get involved with others and have not cleared up your house hold and situation, which result in bringing someone into your mess. Not trying to be harsh, but separated means there are still loose ends to tie up, and you need some alone time to get your mind right after such a life changing event.
