Biomes can have imporantance based on the populations affected. A rain forest has a greater diversity than a desert (which is named because the area is relatively "deserted" or empty). Compared to the American east coast and Mississippi valley area, the plains states Texas and Oklahoma up to the Dakotas) used to be called the Great American Desert. This wasn't because it was all sand and sagebrush but the populations and diversity of flora and fauna were far smaller than areas farther east.

As for the second, the only way an ecosystem stops changing is if everything there dies. Anywhere there is vital life is dynamic, and if it is dynamic it either changes or has a propensity to change.

I don't see how some biomes are more important than others since they all need each other to survive.

I also don't agree that ecosystems will stop changing since the earth is a living thing as long as the earth survives and goes through it's changes the ecosystems will. There will be the beginning and ending of ecosystems, and the ending or death of the ecosystem will be the only thing that stops it from changing.

-some biomes are more important than others.

Perhaps from the vantage point of a species included in the biome, otherwise, why? For who or what?

-eventually, all ecosystems stop changing

maybe in a model things would settle into a balanced state but on a changing planet I don't think this tenet is defendable.

Ecosystems never stop changing-an ecosystem in essence is a changing enviroment. It is a constant adaption of species and plant life.
All biomes are so different it is impossible to put them into classes. Biomes range in over 400 different classes.

I don't think I have enough knowledge to respond to the first statement. I do think that ecosystems never stop changing. Eventually, if we are talking long-term (millions of years), a factor will emerge that changes a small dynamic or possibly a huge dynamic of that system.

I consider folks can suppose unfastened to have the opinion that they wish. They must be competent to specific there opinion, and people who pay attention (which must be plenty of folks) must have an open brain, and perhaps difference there opinion. Some evaluations won't turn out to be something, but it surely doesnt imply there nugatory. Even if no person treasures your opinion, you must. Its what makes you who you're.
