Have kept a Poinsetta plant from last year it is growing good but was wandering how to make it bloom. Linda

I know that there is a certain time in has to be kept in the dark for a while. Try searching google. It will give very specific instructions. They are also plants that should be kept somewhat warm...they come from Mexico.

Immediately begin to fertilize with rose and/or tomato plant food. Only water when soil is dry to the touch. The plant needs at least 12 hours of darkness, per day, until Christmas. During the day, indirect light is best.

my thumb isnt exactually green...but keep in warm place year round and put bloom stuff in it about Nov.
