How about a farm, have a farmer, animals, you could even have vegetables and hay bales, a scarecrow and crows, maybe a tractor (made out of cardboard)
You could pick an era in time, all be from the 30's gangsters and flappers -or- the 50's "grease" type of costumes -or- the 60's flower power tye dye stuff -or- the future, space or alien type costumes
I saw an idea for deal or no deal, one person dresses as Howie Mandel and everyone else dresses as the girls with suitcases
How about a deck of cards, you just need some poster board and markers
a motorcycle gang
a flower garden with flowers bees butterflies caterpillars
little bo peep and a herd of sheep

Belly dancer is def sexy, but your butt isn't hanging out of a too short dress or skirt. You can add the head piece where just your eyes are peeking through and do Crazy long eye lashes and jewels and stuff to make them POP! You could also try going as a football junkie...get some "snug" shorts that are kinda sporty with maybe stripes down the sides, a football jersey, put your hair in pig tails, smudge some mascara under your eyes, make your eye make up "smoky" and wear some high top Converse...Guys will think it's super sexy, not really common and your be comfortable too. Hope it helps...ah to be 18 again! LOL

Don't know if a couple of people work together at all.... but a funny one is 'me and my shadow'. The 'shadow' dresses in all black... and obviously does everything the other person does. Can be fun and funny!
Another good one I heard (from a 40 something single woman)... is a 'gold digger'. HA HA. Can be taken a couple of ways... lol. She was wearing a gold wig... gold glittery make up and gold clothes.... carrying a spray painted gold shovel (even a kids plastic one spray painted). TOO funny!
If you want to do a theme... a 'super hero' theme would be great! Any super hero... even a made up one.
Have Fun!

You can do alot depending on how large your office is. You can do the fake web with the lightning strike strobe lights. Kids love lights especially the black, purple & red lights. You guys can be killer Clowns with crazy faces or vampires & let someone be Blade to take sides with them...(the kids)Harry Potter is always a good one...especially with the sourcerer, you could do sitcom people like one room Adams family, the Monsters, Hillbillies, Be Witch, The Wizard of OZ....think of the cartoons that come on now a days....just make it in a Halloween fashion. I wish I could really give more but I can go on for days....thats my passion design/art! good luck

Wizard of Oz....

It's really easy to throw together. They have Dorothy costumes almost anywhere you go....someone could dress up as a lion, a tin man can be easily fashioned together out of tin foil and a few other things you find laying around the house, a scarecrow should be easy enough to put together this time of year....a mean witch and a good witch (fairy wings and a wand)

How about using American History. Colonial costumes seem to be easy to get at costume shops. It would be educational for the kids and maybe you could add a guessing game, so they could guess who everyone one was. They learn US History in 4th & 5th grade now. George Washington, Benedict Arnold, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, etc.

How about dressing up like the Department of Motor Vehicle morning shift. Or how about Walmarts uniform.

Have them dress like famous democrats and tax them one piece of candy for every five.

Then ask them back the following year and see how many actually come back.

Then get a college kid to write his/her thesis on the punitive nature of taxation based on the data you collect.

Then brag to everyone you know that you know a college kid smarter than all the democrats put together!
