At my school each class has a thyme and my class is hippies i need an awsome hippies costume. If you no what i would where to be a hippie you would be alot of help!!!!

Just get a tie-dye tank top and a pair of bell-bottoms and put a peace pendant and a colored scarf on your head...total hippie!

If you dont have any of this sorry, try yardsales and thrift stores, you can also change a little something in the outfit to make it better or suitable.
Ok, this is what I would wear:
Bright Tye - Dye shirt
Ripped Jeans
"A guitar"
Bandanna Wrapped AROUND my head
Simple shoes, flip flops, flats etc.

Or this:
A brightish red shirt
Paisley skirt around the same shade.
"guitar" - you can carry an air/blow up guitar around, lol
Paisley Bandanna in around the same shade
Red shoes

White big poofy shirt with REALLY big sleeves (kind of like a peasant blouse I guess)
Wooden bead necklace and earrings
Jeans that have colorful patches on them OR A brown flowy skirt
A brown looking patchy sash around waist
Purple Shades!!!!

Did you know when hippies were around, they had this HUGE fashion called the smilie face shirt??? Yeah, they were just Big yellow smilie faces on a plain white T.
You can wear that with bell bottoms!!!
Wear hair straight and long
ACCESORIES:
BIG belt, Peace Necklace, wood bead accesories, beads strung in hair, anything with a smilie face on it, lol anything bright, Flower in hair, and anything with big flowers on it, especially daisies.

Tie dye a tshirt, wear a bright poncho, long stringy hair, bell bottom jeans with big daisy flower patches on them.

If you are a female, wear a peasant blouse and one of the tiered skirts that are popular. Hair long with a flower tiara.
