Try winging it out for cat eyes.

I wear my eyeliner on the top lid a little different than most... I don't put it the whole way across from corner to corner...I start kind of in the middle of my lid, right above my lash line, and go out to the corner, sometimes I even go out a little further than the corner. then i wear it along the whole bottom lid... It depends on the shape of your eyes if you can do this or not...

When I am wear black eyeliner I only put it on my top lid and then blend it with an eyeliner brush because I don't think I look good with it all around, but with other colours I do the bottom too. Try experimenting with different colours that match your eyeshadow. They have great coloured eyeliners out there in the drug stores!

Feather it out like an Egyptian. Yes, that is cool. I use liquid eyeliner and a Qtip to perfect it. Try using a different color on your top. Something pretty that contrast your eye shadow. Get creative with it. If you do something you don't like you can just wipe it off and start over. Just practice. Good luck :)

I use the Bare Escentuals shadow liners - a line on the top & bottom dry and then a drop of Visine in a little bit of the powder to make a paste and a thin line of this liquid liner on the top lid right next to the lashes.

You could also put a heavy line of a colored liner on the top lid - blue, purple, green, and then top it w/a thin line of black next to the lashes.

If you put it only at the edge of your eyes it will give you the illusion of cat eyes. If you put it on the bottom only then it will make up look sleepy. If you put only on the top then you will look awake.

Experiment before you take a shower so you can always wash it off if you don't like it.

Good luck!

if you want to try a natural eye. dip an eyeliner brush in a dark eyeshadow and line the top and bottom while feathering the color out. or just try lining your upper lid and not your bottom

WELL, I LOVE WEARNG MAKEUP AND I LOVE DOING PEOPLES MAKEUP AND I THINK EYELINER IS A BIG PART. I TRY PUTING IT NORMAL ON TOP(COENER TO CORNER) THEN AT THE BOTTOM DO A THIN LINE HALF WAY. OR MAYBE TRY A DIFFRENT COLOR. I THINK IF YOU DO YOUR EYESHADOW DIFFERENT, YOUR EYELINER WONT ALWAYS LOOK THE SAME.

If your using eyeliner pencil...then try liquid. ...or vice versa. Remember to keet the line as clost to your eyelash line otherwise you get a noticble line between your lashes and liner.

When using liner, use your third finger to gently tug the corner of your eye, this enables you to get a smoother line.

try different colors or shades of liner. pencil and liquid have different effects. go with a color that will make your eyes stand out, and try lining the upper lids, and not all around. that actually makes your eyes look smaller. be creative and have fun!!!

Try wearing it on all of your top eyelid and just the outside quarter of the bottom. It will give you a much cleaner look.
