Ok, first of all the dr's office don't give a **** half the time. Second of all, DON'T take a bath if your water is leaking it could give you and your baby an infection and third of all go to the ER regardless of what the dr. said. It's your body and your baby go and make sure that you aren't in labor. If your water has broke or is leaking they may induce your labor. Good Luck.!

Oh you also had asked what labor feels like. The back pain you describe is one sign along with an intense tightening of the stomach that comes and goes every so many minutes. Hope this helps.

The liquid could be amneotic fluid. If you want your dr to see you today, call the office and tell them you think your water broke. They'll ask if it's a steady leak, and you can say YES even if you're not sure. THey will NOT be able to tell you you're stressing, blow you off, etc.

Horrible cramping isn't good, it can be a serious problem! The begining of labor can be back pain that seems so suttle, so if you are in alot of pain, it is not a good thing.

If you don't wanna call the office again, go to the hospital you dr is out of, go to the er. Tell them what is going on, and they will jump through their butts if you tell them your water broke!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Contractions feel like a wave of stomach and period cramps. Some are long, some are short. Some are REALLY bad, others are kind of mellow. You could be going through false labor (I did and it was all pain, no glory!), but the leaking fluid makes me think you're really in labor. GO to the hospital!

Your doctor's office is idiotic! If you think you are leaking clear fluid then you need to be checked!! They can do a simple and quick litmus paper test to see if it is truly your water.

If you are pregnant and having "loads of pain" you absolutely should go to the doctor or ER to find out what is going on!!!

sounds like it could be labor hun. You need to go to the er know matter what your doctor tries to tell you over the phone. NOT ALL doctors know if you are or not over a phone. I lost ALL of my water before and I had a quack and the doctor let me lie like that then I ended up having a stillborn. Rather than seeing you worry you really need to go. BEST WISHES HUN

Contractions to me felt like really bad menstrual cramps...you said earlier that clear stuff was leaking? Sounds like maybe your water broke? I think you should go to the ER...they have a test they can do to see if it was your water that broke...also- they need to do a stress test on the baby...its better to be safe then sorry...

If you are leaking and you are sure it is not urine you need to get to the doctor. Contractions aredifferent for everyone, someppl only have minor cramping, others have intense unbearable pain. I think your concerns are very valid.

honey...your dr sounds like an A$$ to me...go to the ER regardless of what he said...it shouldn't hurt that bad...plus,how on earth would they know you misjudged your leaking from being something else. Please go to the ER...I do hope is nothing serious but I'm not sure

It feels like pressure and cramps. .. .they come in regular intervals . . (every 5 minutes) and get stronger. Pace the floor or take a long walk. . . straight to the hospital and ask them to check to see how far dialated you are.
