Yes, people who eat more fiber will use the lavatory much more often. Physicians recommend that everybody consume at least 1/3 to 1/2 pound of fiber daily, (depending on your age). Most people have trouble even trying this because of their schedules. However, becareful trying this, too much fiber can also cause digestive disorders.
The trick that the sibstance fiber has is that it cleans out the intestines and stomach, flushing everything through the ascending colon which is on your right side and your descending colon which is locating on your left side. Depending on the person, some are recommended to use the lavatory between one and three times a day. But, that is old standards. Everybody's different. Some have regular routines of going twice a week, while others can go as much as four times a day, with and without fiber.
You may want to balance your intake of all fiber with other substances like milk. Ask your physician about other similar types of foods that offer fiber, while still providing additional vitamins and nutrients.
Good luck to you.

That's the main benefit from eating fiber: it adds bulk to the bowel movement and makes it easier to pass through the digestive tract. The right kind of fiber can also help move unwanted substances, like cholesterol, through the body faster, so they don't have a chance to be absorbed. This is all a good thing.

it is not a problem, that is what fibers do :) especially if u have suddenly changed your diet it may take a couple of days till your body takes out old waste that may have stayed in there for a couple of days :) it is also normal to have large bowel movements. if u go on eating like this your body will adjust and u will have a sense that your bowel is better emptied that before. However remember to drink water and fluids, if u dont lots of fibers may have the exact opposite effect, constipation. this is a good thing your body gets rid of toxins. i dont know if u exaggerate if it could irritate your bowel, so i guess u better not, keep it balanced or ask a gastroenterologist :)

The fiber, while edible, breaks down slower than most foods. This means your body digests less of it, and more of it is passed through your body, resulting in more trips to the bathroom.

Fibre is hard for the body to digest so if you're eating far more than your body can 'process' at any one time it probably isn't that good for you and wouldn't gve the associated health benefits anyway... it is for the reason that your body finds fibre hard to digest that helps you go to the toilet and relieve constipation as it acts as a cleanser to move all the waste in your bowels along... it is good to eat it in the right proportion to the correct schedule to keep your excretory and digestive system in good working order Hope this helps

you're correct. Fiber makes you poop. You may also notice you're feeling better, & probably losing weight, also. More positive side effects of a high fiber diet.

Fiber does indeed make and keep you regular, and that is a good thing. Much better than being constipated and full of toxins.
