You know, the more of a stink you make about this, the more stubborn he's going to be about watching his games. He's not going to reward your nagging, scheming, yelling, and whatever other negative behavior you exhibit by giving you what you want.
If this is really your only complaint about him, you should get over it. Either sit down and watch the games with him, or find something else to do.

First your english is a little broken. Second, the man works all week and let him relax. And besides what would he do other wise. Spend Q.T. with you cuddling on the bed watching chick flicks. The sooner you accept the man is going to watch football the better your marrige will be. This has been around for years. You know damn well when you were a little girl in high school no matter what man you married will be in front of the TV watching football. Get over it, and your self.

Honey, you will not pull a man way for the T.V. especially when he is watching football. Football is like a religion to us men, and it can be an addiction at times. But why don't you try sitting with him to watch the game. Just let us men be.

Sit down and watch it with him! :-)
Ask him who is winning, and place a bet. If you have no clue how the game is played, let him explain it to you. This could actually turn into a special moment for you guys, if you would just allow it.
Buy some beer (or soda/juice), buy some wings, and enjoy. Better he be at home watching the game with YOU, than out doing some dirt with someone else!!
Plus, he'll think you are just the 'coolest woman in the world' if you begin enjoying it with him.
:-) Desi
And stop nagging...it will only make him ignore you even more.

Leave the man alone! Cant you find something to do on your own?!. Or why dont you try watching the game and learning it yourself. You might just like it too. I love watching football and me and my husband enjoy watching it together, but you better believe if I didint like it, I would be out doing something on my own instead of nagging my husband to give up football!!

NOT Possible...IT's football season...even if your naked and dancing in front of him...and get him a beer. Well it might work....but i doubt it....
This is HIS Day, and it on;y last for about 20 sundays, and a couple thursdays...Let it go....I like the one Idea...Buy tickets to the game, that will get him off the couch!

I'm not a huge football fan, but if if that's what makes him happy...then you should let him be. Go out and do something for yourself while he is camped in front of the TV.
Another suggestion: prance around the house in very risque lingerie.

there is no acceptable reason in the world, work included, that men, or women for that matter, should not be allowed to watch football, seriously unless your dying let the man watch football!
