ive been there, done that. i'm 15- 5'2" and i weigh 121lbs (i used to weigh 132lbs). i went anorexic for a while and i got super sick. realized that isn't the best way. i've been eating really healthy; i dont eat anything with sugar or anything starchy with a lot of bleached white flour because it just turns into sugar, run whenever i get the chance, and drink 4 bottled waters per day. when you drink water it cleans the system. your body may have held on to some excess water weight so drinking more water will pretty much make you pee out 5 pounds. i pissed out like 6 pounds or so and eating healthier helps well being, exercising will help your metabolism go up. you'll feel better too. good luck!

Honey, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with you! 125 lbs at 5'2 is a perfectly normal weight. I was 5'3 and 125 when I was your age. I'm sorry that your friends think you need to lose weight. If they were true friends then they would not care what you look like, unless you were morbidly obese. If you're that worried, start excercising. Run or walk a couple of miles every day. It will make a huge difference. But I don't think you're fat at all.

Everybody is made different and no two people are alike. Are you comparing yourself to your friends because you think they are normal? Since your hips are bigger than your waist, you have obviously started puberty. Have they? At a young age like yours, taking diet pills will only mess you up for life. Just keep with the weight training for exercising because that will tone your body and make you slimmer, but you may not lose any pounds because you may not need to. Don't worry about it until you are about 16, because then you will be able to drive and can get sucked in by the fast food lifestyle. Just think about the things about you that is better than your friends.. while it makes you different, it doesn't make you any better or any worse than anyone else.

You don't really sound fat. 125 isn't an unhealthy weight. Chances are that you are heavier than your friends because you developed earlier than they did - any money you have more of a figure than they do. You're body isn't even done growing yet, so don't stress out. Wait until you're at least a few years older before you start obsessing over your weight. I think you seem fine and healthy.

PS - Have you noticed that in your question you talk about how your friends feel about your body, how that one guy feels about your body, and how your body compares to other people's bodies. Quit judging yourself based on what others think and don't compare yourself. You are unique and just fine as you are. Don't let other people tell you that you need to change yourself.

Going vegan, exercizing, and drinking lots of water is the healthiest and most successful way I've lost weight and kept it off. And I feel fantastic and have no acne.
Seriously, I've tried the following:
anorexia, bulimia, South Beach, Atkins, low carbs, low fat, high protein/fiber, fasting, about 10 types of diet pills (I worked at a nutrition store), Slim-fast, Zone, Fat Flush... and probably several other I can't remember right now.
The weight always came back.
If you lose weight fast, it'll come back fast. Simple as that.

So questions to ask yourself: why do you want to lose weight? If it's for health, opt for a healthy diet and lose weight gradually so your body isn't shocked.
If it's for your peers' acceptance (what my motives were, unfortunately), then you'll probably opt for less healthy ways, since you are caring more about what they think than how you feel.
Think about it and examine your motives. Decide from there: is it worth it to drop a bunch of weight and suffer the consequences of a slower metabolism later?

When I was your age I was 5' 8" and had a 36" waist...I ended up resorting to 3 years of bulimia, followed by years of useless diets, just to conform to what I thought I was 'supposed' to look like. Now I'm 22 and have come to terms with the fact that I am ME. The other week one of my best friends, who has always been really skinny and wears an A cup bra, and who I used to wish I looked like, admitted to me that even back when I thought I was fat she was envious of my more womanly figure and still is, because she knows that she will never have the curves that I have without getting implants of some kind. Stick with your figure honey and grow to love it - you are obviously just maturing earlier than your friends, and if you develop your confidence to go along with it nobody will even notice if you're 'heavier'.

Your not fat, thick, or anything else. Your growing. It's natural. Just relax and your get taller. It might be a growth spurt. I get bigger around the middle before I get taller.

Maybe a little thick, yeah, but like everyone else is saying, you are still growing. Start now though with eating healthy, and being active doing SOMETHING every week if not every day.

I calculated your BMI which is a nifty way of determining if your overweight or not and your not and secondly you might have a little baby fat on you but your 14 so your growing don't sweat it.
