Just be patient. Don't get caught up the hype of buying something new. Just wait, because no matter how fast the processor is or how much memory it has, the experience comes down to one thing; games. Wait to see who will have the best games for their console. For example XBox 360 has Fuzion Frenzy Two which is really good. However, the system has been out for almost one year, and it has very few games that make use of its power. Go for the system with the best features. I know you are a gamer, so you probablyalready know.

If youv'e got the money I would go for the PS3. I don't know any specific specs but I know the PS3 is going to be a over all more powerfull multi-media machine and personally I think the PS2 delivered better then the xbox did.

I say the Nintendo Wii! The reason I say Nintendo Wii is because it is a LOT cheaper than both XBOX360 and PS3 and it has that cool new technology where you get interactive with the game. Look up some of the differences and decide which one fits you best. =)

PS3. it has more built in features (ie blu-ray), better graphics, better games, and almost a guarantee that it wont burst out in flames the first time you play.

ummm... where do you live? where i live 360s are already out... Id totally go with a 360... i went to tokyo, and played a ps3 and it sucked... nice designed, but grafixx, and games suck.
