There are different websites with clear directions on how to do it. If you're using a program such as Auto-cad, it does it by itself by clicking a little bit, if you have to do it with pen and paper, get all your gear and star with easy exercises such as the ones on the site below. This are the kind of projections that the military uses, at least in my country.

hi, i wil tell u the basics of isomentric projections,

firstly, dont change any dimension,, all dimensions should eb the same, what u change is the angle of plane. how to do that?

take a point and draw three lines, one at 30degrees to the right side, another to 30 degrees to the left, all angles from the base line, 3rd lien is a vertical line,

take the bottom left cornor of the object u wanna draw and all the rifht sides wil eb on the right and left on the left,
all horizontal lines wil be parallel to the 30degree line in the respective direction.
all vertical lines will be vertical,

follow these basics and u wil eb amased to see ur isometric view completed easily.

good luck
