yes there is lots of laptops that can do high def, if your talking about high def games, or tv??
but to get full high def you will need to pay some serious bucks about $2000-$3000
something like the Dell XPS M2010

I believe Apple's Quicktime Player can. You can download the PC version from Apple's website.
