They manufacture entertainment. Sometimes they'll make movies, put on plays, produce dvd's, or plan events. Sometimes it's adult entertainment. Keeping it generic means they'll try to do whatever comes their way.

Entertainment companies can range from music to acting to even adult entertainment which ranges from strippers to full fledge escort services. It varies and since you were not specific these are just some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
