For myself, not really, although as a child in Australia, it did give me a scare to find myself running over a small snake on a bicycle, I didn't stop and look back.

Once, when I was about 11, a mountain lion who was being shown onstage at Universal Studios, saw me walking by about 25 feet away, and just LUNGED at me while snarling. He was on a chain, and his trainer grabbed the chain to hold him back, while yelling at me to get away from the area as cougars attack the smallest prey in the area, and that was ME!
I've also handled plenty of rattlesnakes (Southern Pacific and Mojave Green), but have done so safely, and never had any trouble.

I have had a few. Been circled by a grizzly. We kept hearing noises in the woods and brush around us and the dog was very edgy. Soon we noticed griz tracks in areas we had already been. We slowly made our way back to our vehicle, firing one shot to try and scare it away. From a very near gully we heard a lot of brush snapping and rocks crashing as he ran off. Still we got in the truck and vacated the area. They are a protected species and you better not shoot one unless you are physically harmed. Another time while out hiking with our boxer dog we ran into another bear. I stooped down looking at something and the dog moved forward into the thick undergrowth. The next thing we heard was a roaring sound that was indescribable. Instant adrenaline rush. The dog shot past me so fast I didn't realize she was behind me and the undergrowth of about 8ft shook like crazy, then silence. My husband got me up on my feet and we walked out backwards very cautiously. It all happened in less than 2 minutes but seemed much longer. After looking the dog over we found a 3 inch mark on her chest where she had just been grazed enough by claws to take the hair off. That was a rush. Both times were in Noxon, Montana within 30 miles of each other. I still like to play in the woods though!!

At a tourist attraction I was swimming with a group of large stingrays. One of them became overly friendly and started to work its way up my body. I wasn't sure if to let it do its thing (I'd seen the tour guide encourage one to do this) or try to put it off in some way. As it was I leant back as it edged across my chest near to my head, but then backed off and swam on its merry way. In view of recent events, I'm not sure how I would react now. There was also a 2 foot barracuda swimming around; I assumed that it was too small to be dangerous.

i once had a close encounter with a deer in the woods. it stare at me and I stare at it. Then I moved and it ran away. that was the first time i ever came that close to a deer. it was about 10 feet away from me.

then i spotted a wild turkey and these things are freaking huge and it came charging at me and I ran away. the law say you are not allowed to kill or capture a wild turkey. i would of kicked it, then i wasn't sure if I would get blood on my shoes. so i just ran.

another time, i was in yellowstone national park and a bison walked past me. i never saw a bison before because i live in the city. it looked pretty dirty and greasy that bison i saw. good thing they are calm and friendly animals..

Yes, I got bitten on the finger by an injured mole whilst on holiday in the Norfolk Broads (with the girl I went down on when she had the painters in) and in St. James's Park in London I had a squirrel run up my leg and cling to my thigh while I was wearing shorts, ouch!

living in northern Canada, it is our way of existence. we've had many wild animals that in basic terms mandatory somewhat hand as much as stay to tell the story. Bottle fed toddler skunks, raccoons, coyote domestic dog. great Horned Owl that shared our porch for a pair months. He mandatory delousing and food. Very ill.

Twice! I was attacked by a Monkey in Africa when I was about 4. I picked its baby up and it came charging out of nowhere!

Then I saw what I thought was a piece of rope under a tree and it was a mamba! My dad got me out of that one but have been terrified of snakes ever since!

Snorkelling in Venezuela. 3 barracudas appeared and started to swim around me. I have no idea, how big they have to be to be dangerous, but all those stories about them going for shiny things came back to me - and I had left on my jewellery... Exhilarating and very scary at the same time!
