Looks like Pine Tar Boy made that curve drop a lot more.
He needs to be more careful when he loads up his glove not to get it on the rest of his hands, just a little on the finger tips!

Kenny Rogers pitched a good game. Jeff Weaver pitched a fairly good game as well but the St. Louis offense couldn't start up. THey almost had it in the ninth. How can you call the Tigers cheaters when Rogers pitched just as good or better after the dirt was washed off. I wouldn't call Rogers a cheater, however I do think he is lying a little bit. I just watched a replay of Steve Palermo (umpire supervisor) answering some questions and he said that the home plate umpire asked Rogers to do him a favor and wash the dirt off of his hand. Rogers in his post-game comments said that he didn't know that substance was there and when he saw it he washed it off-he said the umpires never said anything to him about it. Just because he is probably lying about this does not make him a cheater. Besides, the umpires ruled the substance as dirt and how can dirt make a pitcher pitch well, especially, when the pitcher pitched the same after the dirt was wiped off. Unless, I've got something all mixed up, I don't know how you can call the Tigers cheaters. Besides, the Cards had their chance in the ninth. THe Tigers weren't "cheating" then, were they??

What?! The tigers are the best baseball team in the world and just kicked st louis's butt! kenny rogers, bonderman, miner, verlander, zumaya...................... all of the best. Not to mention the tigers great hitting.
