If I answer your question, "Yes", then the answer is "No." Regrettably, if I answer your question "No" then the answer is "Yes." Either way you've got me by the kazatchkes*. If I elect not to answer, you may accuse me of being perverse or ignorant. If I challenge you or retaliate in kind I am being confrontational. If I simply sit here with a vacant stare I am feigning ignorance. Are we having fun yet?

*pleural form of "kazatchka" but rarely spoken of in the singular

'Yes or no' in itself is not a question. However, if the whole is taken as a question, then, by inferring that it is, the answer should be 'NO'.
