Are you kidding? I just had to drop mine as it was $1200 (almost half of my take-home pay) per month just for the premium, not counting any actual doctor visits or medications. This was United Healthcare - through my work! Now I'm a full-time employee in the hralthcare industry and I can't afford my insurance.

Way too much. If we knew what it cost, it would be cheaper, but we don't know. That's the way the insurance companies and large public hospitals want it!

If all employers would suddenly decided to not provide health insurance, and the gov't decided to end Medicare/medicaid, and lawyers could no longer sue for millions, health services would immediately become affordable and doctors would do house calls.

Hell no! Our company offers bare bones insurance to ourselves and our employees and it costs us $2500 a month for 5 employees and only 1 child!

This subject is going to become a huge crisis for Americans soon. We are looking at canceling the insurance because we just cannot afford it anymore.

I hate it, but at the same time, I would not go with out it....that is why they can make us pay so much....Health insurance is something most people can't go without....I hate paying it every month, but at the same time, when I had to take my wife to the hospital, I am glad we had it, we would be in some serious trouble if we didn't

Does anyone like the cost of anything? Or, are you saying some things should be controlled? Where do we stop - health, utilities, fuel to go to work, food, homes?

If you think health insurance costs too much now, just wait and see how expensive it is when it's "free."
