This is a serious question. I have always wondered why I have never been attracted to a guy and have always been attracted to girls. Is it just instinct, or do they choose to?

Well, it's just whats in your heart. Here's a way for you to look at it and maybe understand. Are you straight? Do you choose to be straight? No,you just wake up everyday and know that your attracted to women right? Well gay and lesbians are normal too. We wake up and just like you do,but we are attracted to the same sex. It's not a choice,it's how we feel.=}

No one is born gay or straight. The Kinsey scale shows that people have varying degrees of heterosexual/homosexual tendencies. This is nurture, not nature. If it were natural or genetic, then why aren't both sexes equally able to both impregnate and give birth. Assuming that it is natural and genetic, the human race would not last long if everyone was screwing their own sex.

If someone is attracted to the same sex, it makes them gay, if someone is attracted to the opposite sex, it makes them straight.

God makes us this way. it has been theorized that it is hormaons in the womb or some-multifacteral cause but the real truth is that there is probably several reasons for it and they can not be changed it is inate it is internal.
