Most definately, if possible. I have an ovary left (under the advisment of my doctor). My doctor/friend told me that having a complete hysterectomy can ruin a marriage/family. Your body is getting no estrogen and women need that desperately. The mood swings and the hot flashes, etc. are damaging (mentally) to a woman. Please, if able, save yourself.

Most women who have hystrectomies and still keep their ovaries still are put on estrogen, female hormone. It would be to her benefit to take it if she can. Even with one ovary, she may find she needs hormones. And all women will grow hair "and stuff" as they get older. It's just the way of the world. I wouldn't worry about it too much, though. Godloveya.
