Sometimes you simply have to hit us guys over the head with the "NO THANK YOU" stick.

Try one last conversation, perhaps something like, "John, while I'm flattered that you're so interested in me, and while I'm sure there are many many women out there who would feel lucky to be in a relationship with you, a romantic relationship between us is something I'm very sure is NOT right for me. Your continuing to call and text message me actually makes me uncomfortable and so I would appreciate it if you would stop.

In my experience yes it pays to be a little blunt if the person pursuing you will not take no for an answer. Also it stops there being any "Oh she's playing hard to get" situation occurring. Hope this helps.

There has to be a hallmark card for this occasion... perhaps it should read.....

It's over! I have no interest in you! Good bye!
