I had a bond that was ordered released, set payment plan accordingly. Did not recieve money for 32working days. called and called, finaly had to go get money from court,[never mailed it] missed payment now have warrant. need to get DL bact for reduced fine. 150.00 or 790.00

In most jurisdictions, you can apply any cash bond that has been posted to the amount of any fine.

Sounds to me like you didn't have an attorney representing you either, or this problem wouldn't have happened.

Regardless, if you have a warrant you will have to surrender yourself and (possibly) post a new bond. Some states and/or local jurisdictions give you the ability to sit out your fine instead of paying it.. usually at a set dollar per day of jail. Others do not.

You need to contact a local attorney who can advise you on the procedures for that court. If you don't know an attorney, contact your local or state bar association for a referral.

my advice is to arrange a pymt. plan with dmv and depending on the exact citation., you may want to follow normal procedures for quashing your warrant, as doing jail time may get you out of paying the fine, but not getting your driver's license back...
